For those of you who are not familiar with the power of Wikipedia, please brace yourself. Wikipedia is an online free-content encyclopedia that anyone can edit. There are many great thinkers who contribute to the Wikipedia database of knowledge, and thats one of the reasons its so good. The structure of each article is very similar giving the reader a sense of confidence knowing what to “expect” from a Wikipedia entry. You have a summary, some history, the meat and potatoes, data in table form, fun facts, etc. What a great resource! The World Wide Web is big, and Wikipedia is just one website out of millions. Even so, there is enough information on Wikipedia alone to last a lifetime. If the Internet consisted of just Wikipedia, your monthly bill from the Internet Service Provider would STILL be worth every penny.

Go ahead and check it out. Search for your favourite topic, areas of interest, or even something random! I guarantee you will be impressed with the information that Wikipedia has to offer!
